Having a blog sometimes can be very interesting, sometimes – difficult, and sometimes – very exhausting. But what about two blogs at the same time? This is what happened to me.
One day in winter holidays I was sitting at home – the weather outside was horrible – and scrolled my Instagram. Suddenly, my ex-classmateโs post appeared – and I was surprised by the quality of her writing. I texted her with the compliment – and in response, she said that planned to open a blog for a very long time. I love lighting people up – so I did my best to outflank her fears and inspire her. Worked. She opened the blog a day after.
But after the conversation, I started wondering, why I’m inspiring other people, but personally do nothing? I shared my thoughts with her – and now she did an inspirational part, suggesting me to open a blog. Worked. I opened the blog a day after.
I started my blog with my own poems – and was ambitious about it. Existence of my classmate’s blog created the competition – I wanted to have more subs, more likes and more responses (I succeeded).
The winter holidays flew by – and I found myself again in my university. The new subject started – and at the first lesson Yassemin announced that during the course we will have a blog. Boom! That was unexpected.
You know, I’m very toxic to myself. I want everything to be perfect, original and beautiful. With such requirements, I was able to do maximum one post a week – but now I had to do 3-4! Of course, my blog started fading into the background – and now looked like Flying Dutchman, abandoned by its crew.
And you know what? That’s ok. Sitting on the two chairs at the same time is a very bad idea. So I maybe abandoned my blog – but this one flourished.
P.s. My classmate’s blog also died after a few months of agony. She didn’t want to do “cliche” posts.

You know, I always try to keep some kind of blog or content on social networks, but then I quickly burn out and throw it over, not finishing it, because I am toxic to myself as well as you. I guess I just find the person who can understand me well!

I think the best way to become a winner is to stop competing. The battle must be waged only with oneself. Itโs so difficult to live with “excellent student” syndrome. (I know for myself, have the same long ago) . But blog, first of all, an activity for the soul, for yourself ๐ Try to avoid others results and comparing with yourself. You have a good results!
